I've never been one to obey or be happy in a weekly schedule....you know, the kind where its the same every week pretty much. I feel weird even saying how our schedule has actually been so great for us and has worked! I'm in school 5 days a week therefore away from my boys for about 40 hours a week. Some days its tough for me but for Espen it has totally worked out being with Ryan. He's such a daddy's boy. My Sun Mon and Tues mornings are so great because I can be with Espen and actually feel like i'm off. I have to keep reminding myself that this will only last till July. I'm so glad for a short season of this.
I was home a few days last week but it was because I was violently ill with food poisoning....Ryan too. If you feel the urge to buy the tub of popcorn in the checkout line at blockbuster, just turn your head and walk on. Yes I ate the whole thing. Ryan just ate a tiny portion of it and got just as sick as I did. Poor Espen...Ryan threw him into his bed on that thursday so he could run to the bathroom to throw up. We were so weak we couldn't take care of Espen. Thankfully my dad and Lydia drove up to pick up Espen and he stayed with them for 2 nights while we recovered. Yeah, I never want to go through that again!
It is the middle of February and natural point in the year where I start to become antsy....cabin fever, wanting to put away the winter clothes, wanting to spend more time outside with wagon walks, stroller rides, eat lunch on the patio...but I'm finding the joy in the end of winter....keep the tea out and the hot water going. Enjoy the fuzzy boots for a while longer and be sure to snuggle with those I love.
I promise to blog more....I'll have to put it in my schedule
